Bullseye Leak Detection has experienced consistent growth since its establishment in 2008. Initially a husband-and-wife operation, the company has since expanded into a team of talented technicians and dedicated office staff.
Daniel Spatz, the founder and owner, began his career at a major leak detection company at the age of 19. In just six months, he advanced from apprentice to lead leak detector, gaining expertise in both plumbing inspections and repairs. Over the years, he refined his own methodical approach to leak detection and now trains other technicians using this system.

Founder and owner, Daniel Spatz, started working at a large leak detection chain when he was 19 years old.
In just six months, he advanced from apprentice to leak detector, gaining a strong foundation in both plumbing inspection and repair. Over time, he crafted his own systematic approach to leak detection and began teaching other technicians to follow this method.
While training to scuba dive for pool inspections, Daniel uncovered a newfound passion. He dedicated every available moment to diving, obtaining additional scuba certifications. Eventually, he gained the expertise to teach diving himself, and by age 26, he headed to the Caribbean. As a PADI instructor, he certified over a thousand divers, managed a diverse dive shop, and learned the importance of balancing life and work. After several years, he returned to the U.S. with renewed energy and launched his own business, focused on water conservation, teamwork, and a core commitment to respect, professionalism, and excellence.
This marked the beginning of Bullseye Leak Detection. Today, Daniel continues to teach diving, now directing his efforts toward training the Bullseye team of pool inspectors. Alongside their technical training, he hopes to inspire them with his enthusiasm for the underwater world. He also remains dedicated to training his staff in the systematic detection approach he developed through years of experience.
