we love our community
charity work
At Bullseye Leak Detection, we prioritize helping our community and participating in local charity work. Take a look at some of the ways we stay involved in our community below.
DigDeep & the Water council
Bullseye Leak Detection is a proud member of the Water Council.
We know plumbing. We understand the importance of running water and functioning sanitation lines. We also know the level of anxiety our clients feel when a break means no hot water--or no water at all--for a day or two, sometimes even three!
But let’s consider a few things we don’t know. We don’t know how it feels to live in a home with no running water at all. We don’t know what it’s like to haul drinking water for miles by foot or what it’s like trying to wash up during a pandemic when nothing comes out the bathroom faucet.
Here’s another thing we didn’t know: In America today, roughly 2.2 million people lack running water or basic plumbing. You read that correctly. In the 21st century, millions of Americans don’t have a flushing toilet or a functioning water tap.
If this news shocks or saddens or outrages you, you’re not alone. We’re right there with you. Thankfully, an organization has stepped into the void to right this wrong. DigDeep currently runs programs in the Navajo Nation and Appalachia, bringing clean, running water to hundreds of homes. They also do research and advocacy in California’s Central Valley, where some communities have been left out of the state's water infrastructure completely.
DigDeep’s 100% model means that 100% of their donations go directly to water access programs. They rely on a different arm of their organization--the Water Council--to cover operational expenses. That’s where Bullseye comes in! In 2020, we joined the Water Council, pledging a three-year financial commitment to support their amazing work.
Right now, the pandemic has kept donors from visiting DigDeep’s field operations. We can’t wait to roll up our sleeves, though, and work alongside community members on a field project. Our incredible team has so much to contribute to this incredible cause. We’ll keep you posted!
Habitat for Humanity
Building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
Over the years, Bullseye has performed several Team Builds with Habitat for Humanity.
We love the opportunity to put our construction and repair skills to use for the community.
There’s nothing quite like hammering, painting, sawing, and sweating for a good cause.
spartan race
Speaking of sweating, in 2018, 2019, & 2022 Team Bullseye competed in the Sacramento Spartan Race.
We helped raise money for Wounded Warriors and Freedom Service Dogs of America.
Our team had a great time bruising its way to the finish line for fantastic causes.
